Opava was created on the place where trade amber road crossed the river. It was the vital precondition for formation of a town. Today the river flows through the city of Opava without much use. We have the river bank street, the city turns its back to the river, the poor used to live there. We have recreational space in the regulation of the river for rest, bathing, in another way the river is everywhere and nowhere. At the time of waterparks we want to offer a return to the days of river baths and highlight the unused natural potential of the Opava river near the city centre.
